Venessa Vuia is a lawyer with a general practice of civil and commercial litigation, with a focus in class action lawsuits and sexual assault claims.
Ms. Vuia has appeared before the Court of Queen’s Bench in Saskatchewan, Ontario Superior Court, and the Ontario Court of Appeal. She is qualified to practice in Ontario and Saskatchewan.
Ms. Vuia received her law degree from the University of Toronto in 2014 and a B.A. (Honours) from the University of Toronto in 2008. She was called to the bar January 2016 (Ontario) and May 2016 (Saskatchewan).
Ms. Vuia has participated in numerous mooting competitions including the Willem C. Vis Commercial Arbitration Moot 2012 in Vienna, Austria and Belgrade, Serbia. She is an experienced traveler having studied Architecture at the University of Sienna, volunteered throughout Guatemala and El Salvador, and lived in the Cayman Islands. She is fluent in Romanian and enjoys reading, playing soccer, and exploring Toronto in her spare time.

Christopher Simoes is a lawyer with a general practice of civil and commercial litigation, with a focus in class action lawsuits.
Mr. Simoes received his law degree from the University of Toronto in 2014 and a B.A. (Honours) from York University in 2011. He was called to the bar June 2015 and has appeared in the Ontario Superior Court.
Mr. Simoes participated in the Oxford University Faculty of Law exchange program in 2012 and was a finalist in the Winkler Cup Class Action Moot in 2014. He is fluent in Portuguese and enjoys playing a wide range of sports including, soccer and baseball.
